About The Astoria Dress

This strappy sundress has a pleated bodice, ruched with elastic under each arm for a neat fit and full skirt for free movement, with outside pockets and covered buttons all down the front, it falls to the ankle.

Grace says:

“This dress is based on a favourite vintage sundress I bought in Astoria, Queens, New York when I lived there aged 19. It has now fallen apart and I wanted to replicate it, because to me, it was a perfect dress for hot summer days in a city or by a pool. It has a pleated bodice which falls to the ankle, it has two pockets on the outside and fully buttons down the front - you can unbutton a few if you like to wear it looser. The cotton makes it lovely and light to wear when it’s really warm - I would say it’s easy to wear every day, with sneakers or sandals - or it would also be perfect for smarter occasions, in the evening with a shawl.”

Care Instructions

Made from 100% printed GOTS (Global Organic Textile Standard) sateen cotton

Handwash very cold (in a machine is fine!) & iron - do not wring, do not soak, hang to dry. If you wash in a machine - just don’t leave it in there too long after the cycle has finished.
