This dress is based on a vintage sundress I bought in New York when I was 19. It has now fallen apart and I wanted to replicate it, because to me, it was a perfect dress for hot summer days in a city or by a pool. It has a pleated bodice which falls to the ankle, it has two pockets on the outside and fully buttons down the front - you can unbutton a few if you like to wear it looser. The cotton makes it lovely and light to wear when it’s really warm - I would say its easy to wear every day or would also be perfect for smarter occasions.
